For over 40 years, the cup has been the most common package format for yogurts and
on-the-go prepared foods. Easy to stack, improved shelf life and well embraced by the
market. The cup will not disappear, but the marketplace is shifting, and a balance between
different packaging formats is important for any brand. In Europe and other global
markets, the appreciation for products in pouches is well established.
